FAQs

Brow FAQs

If you’re using retinol, please stop applying it at least 5–7 days before your brow appointment, as it can increase skin sensitivity. If you’re currently on Roaccutane (or have recently finished treatment), it’s best to wait 6–12 months before waxing or tinting and consult your doctor first. If you are on Roaccutane and would like to have your brows styled, our Therapists are still able to style your brows using tweezing and trimming methods.

We recommend coming in every 4–6 weeks to maintain shape, color, and brow health. This can vary depending on your hair growth rate and personal preferences.

Yes! For the best results:
  • Avoid spray tans and face tanning products 24–48 hours before your appointment, as they can affect how tint develops and adheres, and can cause discolouration of the tint.
  • Arrive with clean, makeup-free skin around the brow area.
  • Avoid retinol, AHA/BHA, or exfoliating products near your brows for at least a few days before your treatment.

Tint typically lasts 2–3 weeks on the brow hairs, and may fade faster from the skin, depending on your skincare routine and lifestyle.

If you’ve had a reaction to tint in the past or have sensitive skin, we recommend a patch test at least 24–48 hours before your appointment. We also offer alternatives that avoid tinting altogether.

Brow lamination is a treatment that restructures the brow hairs to stay in a desired shape, giving a fuller, fluffier look. It’s great for unruly or sparse brows. Not suitable for very sensitive skin or if you're using strong skincare actives — we’ll always do a consultation first.

Absolutely! Brow shaping is tailored to your face, preferences, and natural brow growth. We’ll work with you to find a shape that complements your features and personal style — whether that’s soft and natural or more defined.

Yes! Be patient and avoid over-plucking between appointments. We can help guide regrowth with shaping techniques and recommend brow serums that support hair growth. Regular visits can help train the hairs back into your desired shape over time.

Lash Lift FAQs

A lash lift is a semi-permanent treatment that curls and lifts your natural lashes from the root, creating the appearance of longer, more open lashes — no extensions or lash curlers needed!

Results typically last 10–12 weeks, depending on your lash growth cycle and aftercare. As your natural lashes shed and grow, the lift gradually softens.

Not right away. You should avoid getting your lashes wet for the first 24 hours after your appointment. This includes steam, swimming, and heavy sweating. After that, you can treat them like normal lashes.

We recommend waiting at least 6–8 weeks between treatments to allow your natural lashes to complete a full growth cycle and maintain their health.

Yes! A lash tint is included in most lash lift services to darken the lashes and enhance the results — especially beneficial if you have lighter lashes.

When performed correctly by a trained professional, a lash lift should not damage your lashes. We use high-quality, gentle products and always assess your lash health before proceeding. Aftercare is also important for maintaining healthy lashes.

Yes, you can wear eye makeup after the 24-hour no-water window. However, we recommend avoiding waterproof mascara as it can be hard to remove and may weaken the lift over time. Most clients find they don’t need mascara at all after a lift and tint!
